Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, Timbercroft Primary School is part of the Maritime Academy Trust. We are proud to be a warm, welcoming and happy school, with friendly and dedicated staff who are committed to helping every child succeed.

Our curriculum celebrates diversity and brings learning to life. Pupils enjoy exciting WOW Days, which introduce new topics through memorable and irresistible learning experiences, as well as BIG Outcomes, where they can proudly showcase what they have learned. Our sensory rooms and sensory garden also provide calm, supportive spaces for children who need them.

Timbercroft Primary School is located in Plumstead, South-East London. Set within a large site in a residential area, the school is housed across four main buildings.

We provide education for approximately 440 children aged 3 to 11:

  • Foundation Stage: Nursery and Reception, ages 3–5

  • Key Stage 1: Years 1 and 2, ages 5–7

  • Key Stage 2: Years 3 to 6, ages 7–11

Nursery children attend either a morning or an afternoon session.

Our school community is wonderfully diverse, with more than 36 languages spoken. We welcome children with a wide range of educational needs and are committed to ensuring that every pupil feels included, supported and able to thrive.
